PT Music Therapist Needed Immediately

We are seeking board-certified music therapists who will provide Music Therapy for those diagnosed with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities of all ages. The majority of music therapy sessions will be held within one of our 3 main locations or in the individual’s home. The Music Therapist works as an integral part of a team focused on fostering individual’s skill development to achieve their personal goals.

May also assist in providing facilitated group music activities within our facility based programs.

Ideal candidate is passionate about music therapy, self-motivated, and creative. Job description includes completing initial assessments and treatment plans, providing weekly sessions, writing weekly and quarterly reports, and participation with interdisciplinary teams consisting of parents, guardians, and other team members for individuals receiving services.

This position requires
· Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy or Music with an emphasis in Music Therapy;
· Basic computer skills
· Music Therapist – Board Certified (MT-BC) certification; and
· Own transportation and meet driving insurability and background check requirements.

This position will start with a partial caseload, and has the potential to grow. We are looking to fill immediately. Hourly pay is $30.
