Qualifications: Applicant must be a board-certified music therapist or will have completed board certification before start date
Location: Central Indiana- Madison and surrounding counties
Description: PlainSong Music Services, LLC is a small music therapy practice in Central Indiana seeking individuals to provide Music Therapy services to a variety of populations.
Music Therapists will have opportunities working in the following populations:
· Intellectual and developmental disabilities – one on one and group settings
· Public School Settings
· Geriatric Settings – dementia
· Hospice/Palliative care
In addition to providing services, PlainSong seeks to support employees by being available to encourage and work with music therapists to address clinical challenges, navigating documentation, self-care, etc.
PlainSong is only seeking applicants that are passionate about music therapy, are self-motivated, and creative. Job description includes completing initial assessments and treatment plans, providing weekly sessions, writing weekly and quarterly reports, and participation with interdisciplinary teams consisting of parents, guardians, and other team members for individuals receiving services.
