Spring MMT Workshop
Just a friendly reminder that our spring workshop is coming up in just a few weeks. With it being such a busy time of the year, we do ask that you
register this week so we can plan appropriately.
The Spring Michigan Music Therapists Workshop, Get a Bang For Your Buck, will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 9:00am-3:30pm at the MSU Community Music School (4930 S Hagadorn Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823).
Mounting student loan debt is ricocheting through the United States and is affecting many young and seasoned professionals. This workshop will provide information on how to reduce student loan debt, access scholarships and grants available to music therapists, as well as share information on how to fund client services through the Michigan Medicaid Waiver and Insurance Reimbursement. The workshop will be centered around round table discussions so participants can gain a better financial understanding and have a chance to ask questions within a small learning community. Presenters will include: Cindy Lu Edgerton, MM, MT-BC, Kellee Coviak Hansen, MS, MT-BC, and Jeff Wolfe, MT-BC.
The cost of the workshop is:
Professionals: MMT Members – $40; Non-members – $65
Students: MMT Members – $5; Non-members – $15
(Breakfast and lunch are included in fees.)
